Web Development Internship
Job Description:
Blue Sky Sessions, a small web development firm in Holland, Michigan, is seeking a paid web development intern to start work immediately. The qualified candidate will be internet savvy, self-motivated, willing to learn to work on websites, and committed to delivering quality results.
Qualifications:
At a minimum the candidate will be internet savvy and experienced with using web applications, photo editing software, and be all-around proficient with computers. We will provide some training, but any experience with HTML, CSS, or any of the web programming languages will be bonus. We do not work in Dreamweaver – our code is hand crafted for quality reasons. Good organizational and communication skills also required.
Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for conducting updates on websites, formatting web content, performing website maintenance operations, working with analytics data, and other tasks depending on ability. There will also be exposure to the day to day operations of running a small business.
The Details:
- Hours – 15-20+ hours per week, flexible, to be determined
- Pay – $10-12/hour depending on experience
- Term - The position will be open ended for both parties, but we are looking for a minimum 2 month commitment from date of hire.
- Flexibility – At least some of the work required for this position can be done remotely if desired.
